QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Do you have questions about the "Colorful Mathematics with KORBO" program?

We have prepared a list of the most frequently asked questions along with answers to help you better understand the participation rules, schedule, and educational materials.

Check below to learn the details and find out everything you need before joining the program.

1. Are Korbo blocks required to carry out the program, and are the weekly tasks designed for 45 minutes?

If you already have the blocks, there is no need to purchase them. Classes can be conducted at your discretion. This year we are changing the format: from the very beginning, all sets of tasks and challenges will be available so you can independently decide which ideas are best for your group in a given month. We encourage you to complete several tasks from at least 7 sections throughout the year.

2. Is it possible to participate in the project without implementing it as an innovation, just as a regular project?

Absolutely, you can take part in the project without implementing it as an innovation ;)

3. Can children from the school daycare (grades 1–3) participate in the project?

Of course, we invite you to join the fun with mathematics :)

4. Which set of Korbo blocks is suitable for 4 students in grade 2?

We recommend Korbo blocks, which can be purchased at www.remi.biz (if your institution does not have them), but you can also use other blocks of a similar type. For Korbo blocks, depending on group size, we recommend four sets:

- for schools: Korbo STEAM
- for kindergartens: Korbo Maluch
- for smaller school or kindergarten groups: Korbo SPE class sets
- for a few children: Korbo Concept

5. How many blocks do you recommend for a group of 25? Do you offer assistance in purchasing them?

The sets will be based on class sets, ensuring there are enough blocks for a group of 25. The best sets are: - Korbo Maluch – for a kindergarten group - Korbo STEAM – for a school group If the school does not have Korbo sets, they can be purchased at www.remi.biz

6. How and where should confirmation of project completion be submitted? Will the school and teachers receive certificates?

According to the regulations, you will need to post at least 7 posts on FB documenting task completion and fill out two evaluation forms; this will serve as confirmation of program participation. Both teachers and the institution will receive certificates upon completion of the program.

7. Does the school receive blocks as part of the program, or should they be purchased separately?

The organizer does not provide blocks for the program. We recommend Korbo blocks, which can be purchased at www.remi.biz (if your institution does not have them), but other blocks of a similar type can also be used.

8. How much does a Korbo block set required for the program cost?

Korbo blocks offer a wide range – www.remi.biz. Prices vary depending on the number and type of elements. The smallest set recommended for two people to complete the program is the Korbo 90 set.

9. Where can I purchase the Korbo block set needed for the program?
10. I need blocks for 8 students for a math club; which set do you recommend?

For 8 students – the best sets are Korbo Concept 450 pieces and Korbo Code 420 pieces. This ensures all wheel colors are available and increases the number of blocks for group building.
